Here's a little known fact: Kids who eat boxed macaroni and cheese on a regular basis...still grow and thrive. Now I am sure that every genius and healthy person on the face of the planet narrowly escaped absolute ruin because they somehow avoided boxed macaroni and cheese meals throughout their childhood(and college years). My kids are obviously not destined to be great and wonderful people...but hey, they grow and the oldest kid seems to be doing ok in school, except for that pesky 89 that she can't seem to shake in reading. No doubt though, they are all for certain going to be obese and unintelligent because of their diet or so the "world" would have me believe. Thankfully, Kraft has decided to ease my fear of their food being detrimental to our children's health. God bless them, I was beginning to think that no one loved this crap, and that I was forcing it on them because it was only 98¢ a box and we are poor.
Thanks to this fancy new box of Smmmmmiley goodness, I can feed my boys this "classic cheesy goodness" without an ounce of guilt! Thanks Kraft! I say my boys because my 7 year old daughter is now old enough to realize that it is utter crap. No kraft for Cate, Cate has matured to the level of...Ramen.
But hey, they seem to like it, and it's cheap, and we'ens is po' sooooo

That was a little graphic, I'm sorry. Just keeping it real.
If this marketing technique works so well for Kraft, I wonder what it could do for my blog? How's this:
You're not going to believe the amount of flavor and color of life you will absorb from our blog. Our beautiful children will entice you make a large brood of your own. They just love to educate you on how real life is with 3 screaming and messy kids. It's a beautiful wonderful life once you get all the ketchup cleaned off the walls and the poop off the bathroom floor. We guarantee a lovely experience when visiting our blog if you only read every 3rd post. Our family isn't perfect but we are real and we love each other and at the end of the day that's really all that matters, right?
see, I can do it too. But good work, Kraft. Great try. Doubt anyone will be raising your box of the Cheesiest above their head in the middle of wal-mart anytime soon, but hey, whatever helps you sleep at night, honey.

Lol..love it! I cook it like every day for supper. Sometimes it's the only thing the kids will eat. Of course the older kids and us adults prefer velveeta, but it's still a Kraft product..
When I'm feeling really guilty about Mac & Cheese as the main course I throw in some frozen peas. Green makes everything better, right?!
((((((Hugs))))))) to Tamika and Megan!!! I think we need to form a support group. Mac & cheese chefs anonymous...or MCCA. Megan- Most weeks, I steam frozen broccoli with our mac and cheese, and I feel better about myself for going the extra "mile" :-)
Love this post!!!! Riley hates mac and cheese now but Sam hops out of the car shopping cart he drives while I shop and grabs his mac and cheese and his "chili" aka speghetti and meatballs.....no CLUE why he calls it chili. :-)
Kraft mac & cheese and steamed broccoli is my go-to lunch. All my kids will eat it. Luke actually refers to it as "the cheesiest".
Boxed mac n' cheese and ramen are consumed with great delight in our house!
